Mhairri Woodhall

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver British Columbia, Mhairri now calls Calgary Alberta home. It’s no surprise that the travel bug got her at an early age, as by the time she was five Mhairri had already visited eight countries across four continents.
 
In addition to three years travel agency experience, Mhairri runs a popular travel blog and is a freelance travel writer for the Vancouver Sun, The Province, BCLiving.ca, Four Seasons Magazine and Travel Alberta. You’ll also find her work in publications across the country including the Calgary Herald, National Post, Montreal Gazette, Ottawa Citizen and Edmonton Journal.
 
Mhairri’s extensive travels have taken her to Bali, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kenya, Egypt, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Scotland, England, Belize, Mexico, Turks and Caicos, Tahiti, California, Arizona, Hawaii and many city and mountain destinations throughout North America. Each adventure she pursues –whether a train ride through the great Canadian Rockies, swimming with sharks in Thailand, getting married on a beach in Maui, enjoying a culinary tour of Hong Kong, or taking a walking safari in the Masai Mara –is eloquently captured and shared with her clients.
 
To date Mhairri’s credentials include a certificate from the Travel Training Centre, a marketing diploma with honours from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a bachelor of commerce degree from Royal Roads University.
